WHY PARABLES? …AND MORE RETROGRADE MERCURY…
With a parable… a story… the imagination in the minds eye… the inner 4th dimension… can more easily comprehend an abstract idea beyond one’s logical mind which is what holds the entire cosmic illusion together…
If the story is enjoyed… that is positive energy… which is all then stored in the subconscious… thus being an inner motivation to try to live the principles of the story… Life is all a story… maybe happiness is just a matter of telling a happier story?
“Row, row, row your boat… gently down the stream…
merrily, merrily, merrily… life is but a dream…”
…most of us have heard that ancient rhyme sometime during our childhood… perhaps sung to us by a parent as we fell asleep… very much like a hypnotic suggestion… and lo! …later in life the question of life being perhaps a vast illusion… begins to enter one’s mind… and you come across information through various media and or people… and one begins to see things differently and as one brilliant very funny standup comedian, the late Bill Hicks put it,
“... all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.”
…and… here and now… the same ideas are coming from somewhere beyond my ordinary self… and are being expressed thru the personality of my individual self being currently played out as an eccentric writer artist astrologer soothsayer urban shaman of the 21st Century CE…
Thus we have the parable of ‘Ralph of Galilee,’ a story that illustrates the realities that are created by right actions…
Ralph and his stonecutter crew faced catastrophe… possible bankruptcy… due to unscrupulous swindlers… and Ralph… a rugged charismatic leader who loves his craft… and who sees his crew as his brothers… springs into action, retrieves their rightful goods… and hustles up an even better sale and contract with Charlie Hotep from Cairo who is supplying quality stone to international developments…
Perhaps, as a child… Ralph sat with his cousins at the knee of their grandfather who told them the tale of Homer’s Odyssey… and of the crafty and heroic Ulysses and his crew… who simply play the hand they're dealt as best they can… and they win anyway… despite the odds!
…and Ralph’s story… it is life and all the players have their part… the owner of the restaurant, bar, belly dancer club… entertains the locals… and of course business men! …everybody profits, the owner, who then pays wages to the waiters, cooks, bar tenders, musicians, and the belly dancers… everybody works and gets paid… and two honest business men make a deal that profits them both…
Ralph has a quality product, the developer wants it, Charlie Hotep negotiates the contract and handles the shipping, which pays dock workers, merchant seamen, and teamsters of heavy load wagons… and Charlie takes his fair commission… it’s a win/win for everyone.
This illustrates that when honest business people are left to themselves… commerce that benefits all will flourish. Most of the problems occur when the few bad apples and corrupt politicians and religions interfere with business… and it’s been that way since we evolved out of the slime.
…what has this to do with mundane astrology?
It illustrates what is going on with the transiting Saturn opposition to Uranus aspect that is pulling apart the corrupt world economy… It is a necessary weeding out of the false… and building a sounder financial base… business will go on… The people of the world like Ralph and Charlie Hotep will work out a deal that is fair to all… and life goes on… merrily, merrily, merrily down the dream…"
