She is the acme of hustle… and con… making a buck off of absolutely nothing… the classic ‘good ole boy/gal’ con… an example would be the classic early Andy Griffith film role in 1957, “A Face In The Crowd”… It’s a great movie… check it out. And I predict that eventually Sarah Palin’s public life with have a similar ending as that movie.
Hustle… she did become a state governor… and she did hustle money for bridges to nowhere as do most politicians… again the American dream… to be a successful rich and powerful politician… and she did abuse her power, as it was revealed in the “Troopergate” scandal… and she tried to cover it up… in the midst of her being MaCain’s running mate in 2007… and then got hustled by the Republican party sticking her with the $500,000 legal fees for her defense in the affair…
…and like any con man …she is maliciously smart… on the road with McCain she meets big league con people… producers from Lalaland… who have Master Degrees from the Academy of Hustle… and she begins her apprenticeship… the tricks are learned quickly… she has speaking talent and a charisma… ‘star power’… in a unique ‘niche’ market… the crazy radical right…
Astrologically, there are 12 basic archetype human ‘niches’… and roughly each representing 8% of the population… of 300 million… that’s 24 million… and of that… 10% are the radical right… and that’s 2.4 million viewers who will religiously watch whatever program their messiah appears on… and in current cable and satellite broadcasting… that’s a very profitable share rating… especially for low budget ‘reality’ style production programs…
…so, yeah …why keep a pain in the butt $125,000 a year job, with on going legal hassles …being billed for $500,000 for legal fees from the mess the Republican party drafted her into?
These producer and promoter guys are offering her a $100,000 per public speech with private jet to take her and entourage there and put her up in a swank hotel and then fly her back to Alaska… or to the next gig… and then let’s publish a book deal… guaranteed 2.4 millions sales from the faithful… so, she quit the governor job and took her act on the road and published a book… and whatever she makes or publishes …she’s got 2.4 million steady suckers… truly a master con… she learned well during her vice presidential campaign.
And that’s the American dream …and we’re all part of it …including me and perhaps you, dear reader. I still work at the age of 65 as a media specialist QC operator …I watch and review movies very closely for any imperfections, glitches, audio sync and proper levels, or rating content violations that a cable or satellite customer might complain about… and pass or fail the broadcast copy before it airs… It’s a good comfortable job, the pay is middle income… which is enough for my age and lifestyle…
…there are some drawbacks… the California car culture of a daily 65 mile round trip commute… some job stress… if you screw up and it broadcasts, you get fired… and no coffee or food in the reviewing booth… and you have to watch the feature closely with earphones… the good, the bad, and the ugly… all of it, to include the credits, and all the versions of it …HDX, HD, and SD, and all the broadcast bit rates for the various bandwidths… and all the related trailers of the feature… checking the video, the audio, and the content by rating, etc… with zero tolerance of errors…
…and when in doubt, cover your butt and fail it, and request another copy. If the super checks it and overrides my fail… it’s their initials on the broadcast sheet… not mine… not on my shift… and we’re all part of it… the American dream…
…my dream? …I have an incredible come back as a ‘character’ actor… I’m always bumping elbows with producer types in the hallways at the broadcast studios… I have some occasional celebrity astrology clients… and some day somebody is going to say, ‘Hey, that old guy is perfect for the occasional role of the ‘eccentric old grandfather’ in this pilot family sitcom I’m producing…’
I do an audition and get the part… and it’s a hit, and the series goes into production… and then I make a few grand per episode, with re-run residuals, appearing in 1 out of 3 or 4 episodes… maybe a dozen lines, just hit the marks without looking… say your jokes… and it’s a wrap …and a limo picks me up and takes me home… or at least they give me a reserved parking space in the studio lot …and then some beautiful young starlet falls in love with me and wants to have my baby… and that’s my meditation visualization… of a great retirement… and part time job…
…and, yeah …when I get the part …just like Sarah …I’m going to quit my day job …and go for it …the American dream.
…row, row, row your boat gently down the stream …merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream… and then… we all live happily ever after…

THE FINANCIAL… AND SPIRITUAL… REVOLUTIONS…
I have witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet empire… an illusion of lies that promised utopia and delivered nothing. Now we are witnessing and living through Capitalism exhausting itself… Religious credibility is crumbling daily amidst scandalous revelations of sexual abuse to children… and extremist violence… and the citizen’s approval rating of its government is at a pathetic 22%...
Self empowerment is the only way out of the madness… one can not depend on the culture, its leaders, its government, its changing values, its empty religion business… they can’t fix you… they only exploit you and make things worse. Dump it all… look within… find your higher self… and your conscience and follow it…
…and when you find and awaken your inner power to change your individual reality to the better …help others to do the same …by simply pointing the way …that’s all one can do …they are the ones who must tread the spiritual path on their own …survival will provide the answers …the continued exploitation of the many by the few will destroy it all …as we know it now.
As Uranus transits into Aries… violent revolutions will probably erupt throughout the planet… and in May of 2011 Neptune will ingress (transit) into the sign that it rules, Pisces… and on the positive side it can be a time of genuine spiritual awakening in many… and a movement to live in a much more humane manner with respect to all and world cooperation in which all may flourish… while others will perish in the quagmires of corruption, exploitation, and deceit that we are living through now…
It won’t be easy… but it is inevitable…
…may the peace and love of the cosmos be with you…

WHY ANY AT ALL?

Only 398 new victims came forward in 2009… compared to 889 in 2004… ?!?!?! …since the 1990’s everywhere that I have been employed has had by law …ZERO… tolerance of any kind of sexual harassment… and I’ve witnessed a few people being fired for revealing attire, winks, and vulgar language.
What is the church’s problem? …which part of the law do they not understand? What makes them think that they are exempt and above the law? If any of the clergy… all the way up to the head Pope… knowingly aids and abets a criminal, like a child molesting abusing rapist… they are accessory to the crime and need some serious jail time… and loss of their religion permit.
…and if you convict and lock a few up …you might be amazed at how many suddenly come forward wanting to ‘drop the dime on who they know… and cop a plea…’ so they don’t have to do hard time… maybe even a witness protection program…
Then maybe they’ll get it… and if not… I should think people would simply find a new religion. If these guys truly are God’s representatives… being holy and all… I have enough faith to know that God would have sacked the lot them long ago… and would have appointed a new team of God reps by now.

AMIDIST THE CHAOS… WE CAN FIND PEACE WITH EACH OTHER…

I see this in my own efforts with these columns I write… I don’t have a large audience… but I have contact with perhaps dozens of people world wide… in places like… Malaysia, The Philippines, UK, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Brazil… and of course throughout the various states of the United States of America…
…and we bloggers world wide …agree or disagree on views, ideas, thoughts… observations… but the most important thing is… we communicate... and quite often we learn from each other… and we realize that the other person on another part of the planet is not the ‘demon’ that some politician, or controlled media, or religious maniac has portrayed them to be…
We understand by our communications that in reality… most of us are in fact just ordinary human beings…and all with the same hopes, and fears, and daily life of trying to survive and eat and provide for our people…
It’s getting more difficult for corrupt lying governments, corporations, and religions to get away with their controlled media propaganda… as people world wide communicate via the Internet instantaneously… saying to each other ‘No, it’s not like that… this is what is really happening in this part of the world…’
…for personal profits some preach global warming …and others for personal profits, have preached global cooling …and astrologically I have observed… and for ‘penny clicks’ from other blog readers …I have shared the simple reality …the planet is in a cycle of climatic change that will have extremes both ways for perhaps decades or centuries… and not to fear… but simply adapt… as we always have… and my common sense message to the world… check your emergency kits… and be alert… we’re going through some major changes.
Archaeologists keep digging up older and older bones… humanoid remains now go back as far as 100,000 BC… thus we have survived pole shifts, continents coming and going… being hit by asteroids now and then… extremes of both hot and cold due to massive volcanic eruptions… earthquake storms… massive world flooding… ice ages… empires come and go… with two to three century cycles of some ego maniac idiots trying to conquer and rule the world…
…and now today …in this truly miraculous era …we can share our views from every part of the planet… instantly! …and no one can get away with lying to all of us …for very long, anyway.
So let’s make use of it, dear reader and world neighbor…agree or disagree …it really doesn’t matter …all that matters is discussing the issues …compromising …sharing …and perhaps getting around to compassion and love… and maybe give peace a try… just to see if it works… we’ve tried everything else…

WHY WHAT GOES AROUND… COMES AROUND…
It’s the simple law of both esoteric points of view on karma and reincarnation… and physical science… which agrees as it postulates ‘for every action there is an equal reaction’… basic high school physics… I remember a teacher, Mister Murphy, who taught Basic Physics… he put it this way… “For every action…” he then swings a ruler and smacks a wooden block sitting on the lab table… and it goes flying into the wall… “there is an equal reaction.” …funny, how I never forgot that …now there was a good teacher.
…if you put out negativity …it comes back to you …if you put out positive …and if it doesn’t come back but anything neutral, at least you’ve avoided the negative and are inviting more positive energies into your life…
Intuitively I seem to sense corruption and fraud sometimes …and other times I am duped like everyone else …it’s apparent that in previous lives I was rather greedy and power hungry… thus this life time… while still raging with ambition in my youth… I’ve never gotten higher than middle class… and the biggest social success was a starring role in a triple screen drive-in level ‘B-Movie’ of the boobs and biker movies of the 1970’s ‘T & A’ exploitation era…
…and now, during this incarnation, hopefully I will balance out more past karma and build better karma by sharing at least ‘what not to do’ …astrological counseling from experiences that somehow… during meditation… bubble up now and then from the occasional peeks that I get into those past lives… or perhaps they are all occurring simultaneously in various parallel dimensions… either way it’s a long process of getting your various acts and lives together…
…and what positive evolutionary success you have in this life helps the others… parallel, present, past, and future… perhaps when you get a lucky intuitive flash …it’s a future self that has mastered time jumping… and just drops by to help you out… so, you evolve quicker and so does the future self as well…
…it’s a ‘self’ team thing …like Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers making brilliant assists and passes to the other players as the opposing team doubles the defense on him… no matter his averages… it’s for the good of the team… for the good of all… and he willingly gives the opportunity to others to shine and perform… and they win… okay, they’ve had a little slump lately… who hasn’t?... the planets move… the transits get better… be patient, dear reader… and, yes… perhaps I’m counseling myself in that last statement…
…back to this karma and re-incarnation thing …Bernard Madoff the infamous embezzler… not only has consigned himself to prison for the rest of this life… but to future, and perhaps parallel lives of poverty… equal to how ever many he has brought poverty to in this lifetime…
…now if you really cause a lot of mayhem and inflect intentional harm and death on millions of others… like Hitler and Hussein… you might reincarnate as a cockroach… and for an equal amount of millions of lifetimes be ruthlessly exterminated generation after generation …and when you build up enough good bug karma …you may evolve up the scale to a few lifetimes as a rat… again short lifetimes ending in ruthless extermination… you get the picture… it’s better all around to try and play nice and help out when you can… while you’re passing through ‘here and now’ … this time around.
…now stretch that thought through your brain a bit further …we have an over population problem today…where did all these unruly souls incarnate from? …we have a lot of extinct and endangered species …one may have had good karma as a Wolf or a Polar Bear, defending the young , etc… the last time around… before you where massacred by a human shooting a high powered rifle from a helicopter…
…and now maybe the former Polar Bear is Ralph, a big wooly fellow, who gets along okay, doing physical labor… or maybe he gets lucky and is a linebacker for the Steelers… and he’s cool, as long as you don’t provoke him… otherwise, he might tear your head off… and the next lifetime he’ll be back somewhere in what is left of the Bear ranks…
…and if you had good karma as a shark …this lifetime you’re probably somewhere in the banking, investments, real estate, insurance, loan markets, or a lawyer… maybe an agent… it may take a few lifetimes to work out better genetics…
…or maybe you were a really groovy Dolphin… and you died innocently caught in some commercial fisherman’s net… and today you’re Chaz …having a rich groovy time as an actor… playing dress up and pretend for obscene amounts of money… and for some reason… you really love sushi…
…I don’t mean to pop your fanatic bubble …but if you strap on a bomb belt and commit suicide and kill 37 innocent people …you probably won’t get the 72 virgins… and if you do… you can’t do anything with them… because it is a none physical dimension… your image of your hands passes right through the image of them… go rent the 1990 movie, GHOST, starring the late, Patrick Swayze… Now, that would be a living hell… you got 72 willing virgins at your disposal… and your can’t even touch them!
…but the really bad part is …for the next 37 incarnations you will be the innocent victim of a sudden explosion… accidental, war, terrorist… and at the same age and gender of each one of those who died as a result of your actions… and for a few more incarnations you might just lose an arm or a leg… depending on how many you injured, and again as the same gender and age as those you maimed… it all balances out…
…so, let’s all try and play nice …and help each other get through this crazy miraculous adventure and have some love and fun along the way...

This Mars close passage to the Earth and soon making its station will cause some individuals to snap. As these transits pass I feel the tension and the frustrations like everyone else… and rather than turn myself into a bomb and misguided martyr of madness… I choose to spend my day off in the yard…
…mowing and weed whacking my small lawn (Mars rules cutting tools)… weeding and tilling (a Saturn activity that naturally grounds the stressful energy with one’s hands on and in the Earth)… and fertilizing (positive expression of Pluto) the flower beds (Venus)… and planning (Mercury/Saturn) the soon planting (Moon)… or setting out of this season’s Roma tomato potted plants… pruning (Mars) and clean up and preparation (Saturn, practical preparation) for the predicted, by both the meteorologist and the astrologer (Uranus) …next week of rain (Moon/Neptune/Jupiter) etc.
Thus, giving all the squared up energies something positive, therapeutic, and constructive to do …and all very simple, free, or at least inexpensive… Shaman Earth Magick, that makes for some delicious tomatoes and grapes this summer …rather than sit and stew …and turn myself into a bomb …and it was fun… as it was a rather nice sunny day and the exercise felt good.
It’s all a matter of what we consciously choose to do with these energies… instead of unconsciously and habitually reacting to them.
